I want to post family videos to send to my family via email..but i don't want it to be made available to general public..can i do this?

Yes you can, when you post it, don't make it public by not clicking on that preference. Allow only those that you want to view it by sharing it with them. Just type their e-mail add on the sharing page. Good luck.
