Why do videos on utube play intermittingly?

It's your connection speed. Solution: as soon as it starts, click the "Pause " || symbol on the left end of the progress bar. It will change to a "Play" symbol %26gt; and then download the video. You will see the progress bar fill up. Then play, and it will run straight thru smoothly.

Why do videos on utube play intermittingly?
you mean intermittently?? its because they have to load up before they can play and most of the time it takes longer to load than it does to play, though they are usually buffered, ( a5 0r 10 second gap between the loading and playing process ) depending on your internet speed sometimes the buffer time is not enough for the loading process to keep up and the playing process overtakes it, this is where you get pauses for the loading to catch back up with the playing process.
