Have you seen the Utube video of the man tasered, with two 50,000 volt shots, in Utah by a highway patrolman?

Until the State of Utah publicly apologizes for this assault and disciplines this brutal so-called lawman, I will never - ever - drive through Utah again. The victim is a young husband whose wife was in the car when it happened. When she left her vehicle to see about her husband, she was also threatened by the patrolman. Have you noticed that more and more innocent law-abiding American citizens have come under increasing assaults by out-of-control officers of the law since 911?

Miss Lily, just be grateful that you can't be tasered through the computer. From the tone of most of these answers, I can just see them sitting at their computers....with tasers at the ready. Shame on you big burly policemen types, picking on Miss Lily and telling her to shut up and forget that she IS an American citizen with the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution behind her. You, Miss Lily, are our Joan of Arc and an inspiring leader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More power to you!!!!!!!!

You have every right to your opinion, but what gives these detractors of yours the right to tell you to shut up? When you read some of these answers, are you reminded of jack-booted thugs? Reply:Your right the cop should have shot him instead. If you are too stupid to follow instructions by a cop then you need to be taken out of the gene pool immediately.
Reply:Most highway patrolmen are by themselves and get into very dangerous situations. Rule #1 do what the officer says rule # 2 if the officer does not tell you to get out of the car stay in it how does he know if you have a gun. The one time the officer lets down his guard is most likely the time he will be killed. So get off the cops are bad crap

Jesse and Al are idiots........in my town the blacks are killing the blacks at least twice a week. I have yet to see Jesse or Al march on their own kind

Such inflictions would not and never happened if only if the victim followed the instructions of the policeman. Clear as crystal ball.
Reply:OK. I just watched the video, and the cops is an asshole. He was in no physical danger and could have dealt with the situation without drawing a weapon. Definately on a power trip. However...





The guy in the video is an IDIOT! You can hear the cop repeatedly ask for the mans license and registration to no avail. When the man gets out of the car and resists being handcuffed, just another stupid move. Lastly, to not listen to a cop when his weapon is drawn shows his complete lack of intelligence. I agree this cop was out of line, but when he has a weapon drawn at you is not the time to try and prove it.





If you're worried about driving through Utah, keep 2 things in mind and you should be fine:


1. obey the law


2. obey a law officer's commands





Oh wait, don't we have to do that everywhere anyway?
