How can I save a video file from utube in my computer?

I have installed FLV Player and have done the process to take a username and a password from utube, but…now? Can we save these videos? I don’t mean just add them in favourites.

First open both pages


http://keepvid.com [or you could just install their tool bar and when you choose a video you want hit %26gt;Keep it%26lt;%26lt; on the tool bar - but for the sake of detailed ill say how to use the site]

find the video you want





now open the page with that video





Copy the url [the link ontop of your browser -

htttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v= (blah blah)]





You know highlight ---%26gt; right click --%26gt; copy





Now go to your keep vid page and paste the url into the text box provided and hit download.





once there under the text box a grey heading [with the word download in it - in white text] and a white box below it will appear.





The download link will appear below the grey header.


with the words %26gt;%26gt;Download Link%26lt;%26lt; in grey


Right click on that link and choose save as.


and save it where you want
