Reply:There are a few ways to do it, but it requires you to download a program on firefox to do this. Youtube obviously didn't make a "download" or "save as" button on the pages for their videos because they DO NOT wish to have people taking it off their site.

Youtube.com is a streaming video website. Not a downloading website. This braking up, stutters and ruff video play is a result of a slow Internet connection. I have the same problem unfortunately.





I recommend to stop or pause the video until the little red bar has reached at lest halfway on videos 3minuets and above. With videos under 3 minuets stop or pause the video until the red bar has loaded completely.

Allow the YouTube video to upload completely . Watch the red line horizontaly move to the right . That is the indicator of the download process . Once it stops , click the play button .

This is legal...because it's your iPhone...but it voids the warranty...because you're hacking it.





To download it onto your iPhone, you'll have to jailbreak it, meaning remove the iPhone's restrictions on files (you know...how when you try to drag and drop a .doc on your iPhone and it says iPhone can't read).

Okay so I've uploaded two vidios to utube before, both handycam imported and edited on movie maker however now when I try to upload one that has been made exactly the same way as before it says "Failed (invalid file format)" . I dont know what im doing wrong, should I be saving it somewhere other that "my vidios"?

you may be forgetting to change your video from MSWMM to WMV


MSWMM is only the project file not the actual movie file


follow these steps to convert your video to WMV and get it up and running on youtube:





-open windows movie maker


-press 'import audio/video


-import the video you want to upload


-drag it to the time line


-edit it (optional)


-press PUBLISH MOVIE (at the top of the screen in the middle) or if you have an older version then go to the file tab and then press SAVE MOVIE AS (not save project as)


-press PUBLISH TO THIS COMPUTER/ SAVE MOVIE AS


-name it


-save it





it will now convert to a WMV format and will save to your video folder


once it has completed do the following:





-go to youtube


-sign in


-press upload (in the top right hand corner of the home page)


-fill in the video information


-upload the video


-wait on that screen until it says your upload was successful and can be viewed shortly after it has finished processing





NOTE: it can take up to 6 hours to get a channel icon from your video and it can take up to 72 hours before your video will return in the searches but it can be viewed from your profile as soon as it has finished processing

By waving the flag, shaking the cross and referring at every opportunity to drivel, like massive tax cuts for the 'rich' as being in the interest of the wage-earning class, (the trickle down nonsense) these bozos truely believe they can 'win'. Who knows..they may be right. There may be one more election cycle in their future. So what if we have a forever war, a sick to death middle class, environmental damage, a continued 'oil/coal only' energy policy, a crashing dollar, a rising 'indirect' tax on everything you buy, zero effort to deal with the health insurance meltdown and a bloated military that can't hardly get out of it's own way? As long as the these republican losers can wave that made in China flag in our faces and point to the Islamo-fascists, they think people won't eventually 'get it'....these bums are nuts, out of step with reality and no friend of ours. Don't watch 'em unless you have a cast iron stomach...these bozos want to make me hurl!

If you are using firefox, or mozilla, it seems to me you have the problem that is a known problem.





They are having problems with windows media player. Simply go to this web page

IPOD/UTUBE help please!!!?

I got my daughter the IPod Touch for Christmas, which is equipped with a direct Utube link. I really need to know how to block certain stuff from her viewing? She's only 12 and there's all kinds of porn and x-rated crap readily available for her to see, even accidentally. Is it like a computer, where you can put a minor-block on it?





Is blocking it even an option? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Reply:I have the same trouble and found out that it is my computer that wont play it.(windows 98SE and 7 years old).My advice is to get a new computer if you can.
Reply:press play and then pause it... wait till it's fully loaded (youll see the prog bar change from gray to red) and press play again. the video will run as smooth as a baby's butt

That's why I got used to turning it on and pausing it until the red line is full and that's how it plays smoothly.

Reply:OK do you see the little circle that moves when your video plays on the bottom?The red thing that goes along with it.If the circle goes and stops at the white spot it may stop.Then you must hold the circle back to the red lines and let it play and it will go alot smoother.Try it yourself!

Reply:The new (free) real player (real.com) has a new feature: you can d/l just about any video that's streamed to you in a browser to your machine. I've done it. When a video starts playing, like on youtube, a 'download' button appears above the video window that, um, downloads the puppy. It goes into the real video library/directory. You can then do with it whatever you can do.
